Digital Literacy Student Guide: Grammarly

Helping students with digital literacy skills needed for university.

What is Grammarly?

Grammarly cleans up your writing by finding grammatical mistakes, spelling errors, and typos, but it does more than provide an online grammar check. With a Grammarly Premium account, you can access all grammar-checker feedback for your writing and get advanced suggestions that help you improve your writing skills over time.

Grammarly’s product offerings offer writing suggestions wherever you write. Our suggestions are split into four categories: correctness (indicated with a red underline), clarity (blue), engagement (purple), and delivery (green).

Note: You can use Grammarly to check for plagiarism, but Turnitin is still Avondale’s official text-matching software.
