Key deliverables over three years

What will success look like?

1. INNOVATION

To be responsive to changing Learning, Teaching and Research needs with technological solutions and innovative practices

1. 1.  Digital Literacy & Technologies, the library will assist in the development of an institutional digital framework to support student and staff. (L&T 2.4)
   2.  Research & Institutional Repository – to expand on the role in collection and management of the University research collections by exposing reach and maximising impact. (Research 1.2; 2.1;2.3)
   3.  Collaborative Learning Spaces – the library will support both physical and virtual spaces where students can create and generate in a technology rich environment that supports learning.

The library will be expansive in the implementation of innovative technologies and tools.  It will provide assistance to support the usage of these technologies.

2. INTEGRATION

The library will collaborate across arenas to integrate frameworks and initiatives in support of quality assurance.

Collaborative partnerships will increase access, engagement and user experience.

1. 1. Sustainable Development Goals - draw from the SDG   framework to incorporate and promote within the library services and resources (L&T    3.1).  Respond to the development of the Action Plan and align the curricular and co-curricular activities with library promotion.(L&T 3.4)
   2. To embed academic resources into learning management system to support quality assurance in academic integrity, research skills, information literacy (L&T2.3). We will provide enhanced reading list discovery.
   3. Library as Partner – to reach out and engage in productive partnerships to assist in the development and promotion of library services and resources.

Integration of our services will increase access to our collections and greater engagement, whilst promoting focused programs in alignment with Avondale’s strategic goals.

3. INFORMATION

To provide trusted scholarly resource that support learning, teaching and research endeavours.

   2. Collection development – to grow content by identifying opportunities for expanding the depth and breadth of resources. To streamline our operations and optimize our process of acquiring and delivering. To review & monitor collection resources
   3. Diversity – bring forward collections that promote equity, and diversity of cultures and global justice. SDG 16.

 Library’s core business is to connect students and researchers to trusted information and acquire skills for the collation, creation and sharing of knowledge.
