When referencing Australian and international legal materials, use the Australian Guide to Legal Citation (4th ed.). The examples in this guide are based on this Australian guide. Note: In-text citations follow the standard APA format, not the AGLC's footnotes.
The APA Style Guide refers readers to "The bluebook: A uniform system of citation"; however, The Bluebook is unsuitable for use in Australia.

Reports by the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) are commonly used sources of information for academic tasks.
Note that some pages on the ABS webpage are updated regularly. Include a retrieval date if the page's contents are designed to change. This is shown by the Latest Release date.
The ABS's website How to cite ABS sources has some good tips on how to cite ABS tables and images, but remember these tips are generic and need to be adapted to the APA 7th Referencing style.
