Downloading Citations

You can download the citation of the book you have borrowed from Avondale Libraires by searching for the item and finding the Send to section of the item record.

Within this section, you can:

  • Use the Citation button to see a preview of the citation. This can also be copied to your assignment document. 
  • Export the citation record to Endnote RIS 
    • Pressing the Endnote RIS button brings up the Download button 
      • You can press download straight away here or Choose Encoding
      • and Select UTF-8 from the drop-down list

  • Export the citation record to Endnote WEB
    • Selecting this option automatically opens Endnote Web in a new tab. If already signed in, it will have automatically added the reference to your Endnote Library.
      • If you have to sign in first, once signed in, use the sort by feature and change it to the following to see your imported record.
