Avondale Library provides two ways for patrons to pay for their library fines. One can be done in person, and one can be done online.
The options are:
In-person via the Self-loan kiosk at either library
Online via the link to the Avondale payments portal from your Primo account homepage.
Via Self-loan Kiosk
Payments for fines can be made at the self-loan kiosk for ALL user groups. As the kiosk links to the Patron's account on Alma, it registers that a payment has been made within seconds, which removes the block of loan that fines above $10 create.
Patrons can then continue on the kiosk and borrow books after the block is gone.
Procedure:
Scan your ID card to log in.
Click View Account button
Click Fines button
Option of how much of fine appears on screen - it automatically displays the total but you can reduce the amount.
e.g. if you have $15 of fines and just need to get it under $10 so you can borrow, type 5.00 in here.
Select Continue
Click EFTPOS button
Payment information is pushed from loan station to the attached EFTPOS machine.
Follow the instructions on the EFTPOS to make a payment
The system will register the payment and display how much was paid.
Take the printed receipt, if you want it.
